Especially if that involves consistently playing players in their natural positions.
Dead give away for those that have never stepped foot on a soccer field.
Sure, some guys, and positions, are more specialized than others, but almost all of these professional players have spent their entire lives playing all over the place.

...until they turn pro (and a lot of times well before that). This isn't U-14s anymore. These guys for years have been training day in and day out at that position. Sure they have the athletic and technical ability fill in elsewhere but they play a certain position for a reason - it's their best.
If Yedlin trains every single day with his club as a RB, then to me it is fricking retarded to take him one week at a time for a few times per year and put him at RM and expect him to perform well. Same goes when we tried to shoehorn others into other positions.

Me suggesting we should play our national team players in their natural positions is an indication that I've never stepped foot on a soccer field?
Good job trying to discount my opinion based on assumptions while knowing nothing about me. Not a great way to get people to take your side. Try being less of an a-hole maybe, but if this thread is evidence I would say you might struggle with that.
