Since 2007:

LSU
52 Draft Selections (13 from 2007-08), 20 Underclassmen

Alabama
48 Draft Selections (4 from 2007-08)

While I don't know the number of underclassmen Alabama has had drafted and don't have the desire to research, I can state with certainty that it is fewer than LSU has had over the same time frame. Combine that with the fact that from 2009-14, Alabama has had 44 draft selections to LSU's 39, and I think you can see that the talent discrepancy on the field is certainly there.

You also have to look at what positions are being drafted, Bama has more olinemen and linebackers, that I know for sure. That's a big issue. LSU may have a bunch of wrs and dbs drafted, but that isn't winning you championships.

That is also a product of the area you recruit. LA is loaded with athletes, not the guys in the trenches.
