My honest and accurate assessment

The modification to the program go as follows:
1. Les to stay and assume a CEO approach
2. Cam to be replaced
3. BDP to be moved to an admin role
4. Kevin Steele gets one more year to adjust
5. Off season conditioning needs to draw on the 2011 off season. That edge needs to be brought back.
6. Pocic to LT and Clapp to OC for next year
This team is not that far off of being a competitor, rather the management mindset needs an adjustment to the state of the game today.
Lastly, no more videos of the Big Cat drill. Who fricking cares......
ETA: reach out to Kevin Mawae to serve as an online assistant. I know he has tweeted some smack and may say 'frick that!' But, Kev's intensity may be helpful. This is a reach.....I get that.

No. He's a fantastic recruiter. I would add that he is barred from the sideline.

Why should BDP be kept on in any capacity? He has accomplished nothing in all of his time at LSU. Time to cut the ties permanently. Move Steele to linebackers and special teams. Get rid of Cameron (not sure this would even help at this point). Hire an innovative offensive coordinator, and tie Les's hands behind his back and duct tape his mouth. Get an aggressive defensive coordinator. And if all of that does not work, then Les goes. Sounds fair???

Been hurting the program for years.

This is probably true but its like shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic.
What we need is to not hit the iceberg in the first place.

I was leaning to Steele to LB coach, but he gets one more year....too early. Need more than a year for scheme.
BDP is a recruiting asset. Like it or not.
Note that my thought is Les being more hands off, hence the CEO comment.

Is this really true or has it been repeated so much that it's common knowledge?

So if the OC/DC fail... then fire Les?

Not so sure about your assertion. Mississippi State man handled us at home last year and Arkansas at home this year. Define competitor?

What has BDP done in recruiting?

Has very strong relationships with the HS coaches in north La for sure.

people seem to forget that in the 2013 season LSU set several records on offense. 3000 yd. passer, 2 1000 yd. rec. 1000 yd. back.
so, LSU coaches know what to do. its a matter of getting the coaches to do it even if harris is still a work in progress. the whole problem with the offense is les is WAY too conservative and restrictive with harris that its affects the passing game and then indirectly affects the running game.
the coaches have been very successful on offense recently.
just a side note, we didn't win the sec or nc with a record setting offense. so, it is not correct to assume that fixing the offense is all that is needed to win.
