Trust me, I get what you're saying. WR's go through catching drills every day (hand placement, above the waist, below the waist, back shoulder throws, and about 20 more). My point is, these are Division 1, SEC WRs and should shoulder some of the blame for dropping a ball. For example, Dural against Eastern Michigan (I believe) ran a wide open curl, Harris puts it between his numbers, and he flat out dropped it. I'm not going to sit here and blame the coach for that.

I guess what I'm saying is, if the WR is using everything he's coached, ie proper hand placement, and he still drops it for whatever reason, then that's on him.

Well then it's on Ball for putting him in the game. If the dude doesnt produce, find someone that will. And that's what almost happened to Dural earlier this season.

I know these are not pro athletes and we try not to blame them as much, but drops are on the player(s). And contrary to your belief, you don't bench one of your best WR because of a drop. Again, not to compare to the NFL, but TO had a HOF career and he led the league in drops for years.

Good point, and that has some merit. I think if playing time/consequences were based more on that we would see improvement. But newsflash: Dupre and Dural will play no matter how many balls they drop, and they know that. They are talented and mix in some good plays too.
