Yeah I was just speaking of the people in general. My grandmother was Sicilian and actually married a Neapolitan, but she would tell stories and had a lot of unfavorable opinions of the Italians further north

I hate to make an apples and apples comparison to the industrial and cultural divide between north and south in the United States in the 19th and early 20th century...but it's the closest comparison I know of
