I have no reference because I've never been around American cosa nostra (that I know of), but in Sicily they're fricking crazy

I know the priest you're talking about. Palermo is where the power was and still is, but these rural clans took shite over in the 80s. Ruthless. You cooperate, they'll kill your family too.
When I was there the corleonesi were running the island. I don't know if they are anymore, but it works differently than how I imagine American organized crime works. and they're definitely more violent than the American mob
