The best point the professor made it the snap video was that just because you want an apology doesn't mean your request has to be honored. He should've gone with the "I apologize you are too offended by my argument to form a proper rebuttal." That would really trigger her.

I think he was going more with the let's get to the bottom of what you found offensive, and, if there is a reason that I should apologize, I will. However, as of now, I don't see anything wrong with what I wrote, so I refuse to apologize just to shut you up.
