FL Public Land Osceola Turkey Drawing is open...

For you turkey hunters seeking the Osceola now is the time to apply for Spring 2016.
Next year should be good but 17' may be better if the harvest reports are accurate. Some of the better quota hunts are on Caravelle Ranch, Hickory Hammock, Camp Blanding, Fort Drum, Andrews WMAs, as well as the Prairie Lakes Unit of Three Lakes WMA.

Green Swamp is an option albeit heavily pressured. The Richloam Baird unit is a solid choice too.

I've been down to three lakes screw times. Turkey are everywhere. I've seen fields full of them. Also some really good bass fishing in those lakes.
