Woodhead or D. Lewis this week?

PPR league. Left Lewis on the bench last week and Woodhead went bust. I'd think that with Keenan Allen out that Woodhead will have to step up and make plays in the passing game. Tough call as they both have favorable match ups this week (SD at Chi - NE vs Skins). Both have had excellent years and have been hot commodities

Lewis is actually a big part of his team's down-to-down offense. Woodhead isnt.

Woodhead is the 3rd best PPR back in the league

Since Keenan Allen is out now, wood head might get a lot more production. Rivers already targets him a large percentage of their offense. However, I'd still ride Lewis and Brady until wood head shows he reallys heat up.

Chargers are:
- down one WR
- another WR banged up
- one TE (Gates) banged up
- another TE (Green), who is pretty good, banged up
- down one RB
Woodhead looks to increase the number of targets/looks/handoffs just but the sheer decline in available targets.
Lewis has been banged up a bit himself but did above expected production vs Miami last Thursday night. Plus, some extra days to rest.
Both teams have beat up OLs. Both teams have hot QBs.
Difference may be defense. NE can stop a drive, giving its offense more chances with the ball.

and the majority of his points have come on dump downs at the end of games.
He's been productive but im looking at the process over the results. Lewis is much more involved down to down in his offense. Woodhead's value is predicated on if San Diego is losing and has to throw to come back? You want to lean on that?
Lewis is also playing a higher percent of his team snaps. Woodhead isnt a bad option but he isnt Lewis

agree with that although I have to play both with Bell out

I agree that I prefer Lewis to woodhead. Lewis has plays called for him whew Woodhead gets most of his points off of dump offs. You know Lewis will get touches.
Was laughing because you were saying you are more concerned with process than results when Re:cooks all you are concerned with is the result and not the process.

Ice tried to bet you multiple times on that. Over 16 games or even 8, 1 big catch won't skew his ypc. You just know you're wrong

The process to me is that cooks isn't a true #1 wr. Not a big time playmaker. And it's pretty obvious IMO. . The result is his YPC. So even though the process says I'm right then results may not.. similar to Woodhead (results to date) v Lewis (process).

He only has 18 more points and Lewis missed a game and Danny's numbers are inflated by that Oakland game. Lewis is better.
