That might explain why it hasn't been funded yet.

Honestly, the best chance of any gentrification is in Bossier City. They are really going all out with a new downtown.

I thought all they really had was the boardwalk area around the casinos. It seemed to me that once you drove past Traffic Street, it goes downhill pretty fast.

Again, forgive me if I am wrong, I haven't been up to the area in about a year or so.

are they any neighborhoods that are even remotely viable to live in near downtown Bossier?

I know they are trying to promote their downtown, but Bossier will always be a suburb city
