An interior running game forces LB's to stay home thus opening up outside counter plays, play action bubble passes, end arounds, etc. That leaves our WR's blocking one on one and forcing safeties to come up and make plays. I'll take our RB's against any safety in the nation all day long.
Establish inside running game and force LB's to hesitate a step. THEN the outside opens up.
