re: Why Do You Hate Alabama?

I went to college in TN and were on the way down to PCB for spring break. Going through Alabama, a cop in front of us all the sudden switches lanes, slows down to let us pass, gets behind us and hits his lights. We were not doing anything wrong, at all. No drugs or booze in the truck, at all. 2 guys and 2 girls.

Bama trooper tells us he would speed up, and then we'd speed up. He'd slow down and we'd slow down. We basically said wtf, we haven't done that at all, and that'd be idiotic of us to do in the first place. Who tailgates a cop?!

He's being overly combative the entire time, and told us we were doing roughly 85 mph in a 70. We weren't. The driver chimes in and respectfully asks him how he could have known we were going that fast, and assured him we were not. The cop quite literally yell something along the lines of "Idk how you all do it in TN, but here in Alabama we can clock folks by driving in front of them!!" The driver sheepishly backs off and is kind of just like "well, alright, I don't think you're right about our speed, but sorry for the trouble."

About that time my SO, in the back with me, reaches into her purse to get her phone and this crazy fricking cop jumps back, draws his weapon and tells her to "show me your fricking hands!" She of course obliges, while crying her eyes out since she just had a fricking gun stuck in her face.

After all this the fricking guy let's us off with a warning. He was basically just looking for a reason to be a piece of shite.

frick him and frick the entire state of Alabama.
