alternate SEC channel?

Wish someone could explain why SECNetwork didn't have the game on the alternate channel instead of ESPNU?

I wondered the same when the scrolling bar said it was on that channel.

Contract issues makes some sense, except the game was on the regular channel before VanvsMiz started. Why not just move it over?

It was on the alternate channel for me once they announced it. Some providers (notably DirecTV) have lots of issues with the alternate channel for whatever reason.

It was a few minutes into the game, but i definitely watched some of the lsu game on the sec alternate channel. Espnu even had a message at the bottom saying so.

Directv only plays games on the alternate if it's scheduled.

they did put the game on the SEC Alt channel once the other game went past 2 OT. I listened on the radio and switched over at that point.

uverse has sec net and 2 alternate channels
until the move happened, they were showing mizzou-vandy on both the sec network and one of the alternates, while the 2nd alternate had nothing but the sec logo on it
i dont know why they sit empty all year wither, why not show something
