Stringy gunk in my eyes

I can pull a lot of stingy eye boogers out of my eyes all day long. My eyes itch , burn and feel like I have something in it. I've never had this before this year. The only info I could find online is that it's related to allergies. I'm not congested nor do I have any other symptoms besides this aggravating crap. Does anyone else have this problem and what helps with it if so ? Thank you in advance. Btw, I don't have the aids because I already was tested .

I've had pink eye when I was younger and it doesn't feel like that. My eyes aren't bloodshot/red .

Yeah, that sounds like pink eye, not allergies. If you wake up in the morning and your eyelashes are full of a bunch of gunk, and your eyes are itchy and red, then you probably have pink eye.

I'ts just pink eye at worst or allergies at best.

My eyes are fine when I wake up and not stuck at all. I can feel like something is in my eyes and I look in mirror and rub out a long stringy eye booger( gross)
