No, never even thought about it with my dad. Now, my son is 8 years old and is 5 1/2 inches taller than I was at 8 years old, and weighs exactly as much as I did--99 pounds--when I started my freshman year of high school. My dads a 5'10" 220 lb out of shape attorney with monkey length arms.
He is not a fighter, but I've felt his old man strength when he pinned me to a wall. He's no outdoorsy, fighting, red neck, or military, but I am never messing with him.
It's terrifying. Felt like a silverback. And I'm taller than him and almost his weight.
