The gators found in our bayou are attracted to the ducks, chickens, and other animals on the property are removed to our ponds which are across the highway which is probably where they came from. We gator hunt each year (legally w/tags) and the ponds have a thriving population there. When we have a large animal die (cow, donkey, sheep) we bring it to the ponds where it is promptly taken care of by the gators.
