I will answer with a question.

Why does a Rolex cost more than a Timex?

Plus what the other guy said. Ferrari does one thing...builds precision performance vehicles. Their pedigree is winning Formula 1 consistently for 50 years.

Don't get me wrong, the new Corvette is a joy to drive. But if I were a billionaire, I would have a stable of Ferrari makes and models from different years. 1965 GTO 250, 1973 Dino, mid 70's Berlinetta Boxer, F40, etc.

(But I'd also have a Ford GT, and would get the new one with the V6.)

And a 67 big block Vette, convertible with a 4 speed, an early 70's Pantera...
