i didnt hate the wood trade. i actually thought it was pretty smart and applauded it at the deadline. gave up hector olivera for a young, team controlled lefty that has his moments. but yea, not getting an elite arm is whats going to bite us in the arse unless kershaw and greinke show the frick out.

i dont know why, i feel like we bring him back. if not him, then price. if we lose greinke and we dont pick up an elite arm, im going to melt the frick down. but next years rotation of kershaw/greinke(or price)/ryu/mccarthy/wood makes me feel pretty damn good going forward. its a good thing that we arent the phillies circa 2011 and that this isnt our window closing. our window is still open
