I plan on mounting the TV on the wall. Probably at about 4 ft or so. The speakers could be hung next to the TV, right? Or installed in-wall? Or am I misunderstanding?

There are some on wall speakers but you don't get depth in the speaker and have limited quality compared to value.

Look into Definitive Technology Mythos speakers if you need something on wall.

Yes to both. There is the issue of the center channel speaker. Exactly what speakers are you looking at?

Well, I plan on having some type of entertainment center underneath the TV (which will be hung on the wall). Could the center channel go there or should it also be at screen height (ideally)?

Haven't found a specific set, really. Too much was undecided. This thread is helping.

Just above or below the screen.
