I got up from my desk and left my classroom at 2:56 to go to my duty post. Last three plays I witnessed: Correa two run homer, Rasmus solo homer, Gattis single, one out. I'm feeling good.
After duty, I head to football practice and anxiously check my phone. 6-3, bases loaded, nobody out. Ten minutes later I quickly check my phone again. 6-6, one out, bases still loaded. My guts fell out on the ground. Decide not to check again until after practice. My fears were confirmed.
