How does that help us with poor KO coverage, though? Seems like we might as well just kick out of bounds with no potential for a return--especially if we apparently can't execute a squib, either.

I also question the punts at USC's 35 yard line and thereabouts. It's painfully obvious at this point that Keehn has no ability to make good punt placements, which means that we sacrificed scoring opportunities for meager 13 and 15 yard changes in field position.

The pooches showed that we're willing to give them the ball on kickoffs at the 35 yard line, anyway, so why not just go for the first downs when we have the ball down there?
