I didn't need a glass ball or Tarot cards. There were several obvious factors that indicated that LSU would show significant improvement in the passing game. For example, the rankings of the defensive components of USCe and LSU's next four opponents clearly suggested that LSU would start focusing on the passing game. As another example, the back pressure was building on the development the passing game. There are also two recruiting factors that could not be ignored.
And for the record, I specifically referenced "LSU pass catching personnel" rather than receivers because it was fairly obvious that LSU would start working in TEs and backs into the passing game. One-third of the receptions yesterday were made by TEs and backs.
