I am currently running toyo mt's and love them but its time for new tires and was wondering if anyone knows how good the kumho mt's are if they compare I just wanted to save some money but if they are not any good I will just fork out the extra cash for the toyo's

I'm here to see responses. I'm checking out kumho as well

Hard to beat those Toyos, on 3rd set, 55,000 miles on each set

I don't have any experience with kumho tires but I've never heard of anyone being unhappy with Toyo MT's

I have a set on my son's Taco. They seem to be pretty decent. They wear well and do pretty good in the mud although I wouldn't put them up against the Toyo.

Anyone use the Nitto Grapplers? They claim 65,000 mile lifespan. Currently have duelers that came with the truck

I just put a set of trail grapplers on my truck, so far very pleased, very quiet, only tested in sand but did well.
Swapped out some MT MTZ's, while I liked the tire they were loud, but I got 74k out of them so I cant complain.

Look into the Aturro Trailblade M/T's, they have basically the same pattern as Toyo's but more affordable. My tire dealer says they are comparable to the Toyo's considering the money you will save.

Not sure if you're stuck on M/T's but I recently switched from BF Goodrich KM2's to an A/T Terra Grappler G2 (came with a 50,000 mile warranty). Both are 35's on a leveled, 3" lifted silverado and they both look and perform great. The mudtires are obviously more aggressive but my mpg has improved and my truck rides much better with the Grapplers. I work in construction and hunt/fish every weekend so I kick it into 4 ALOT. Both do the job. I will say that if I'm getting anywhere rough I usually try to use the fourwheeler though.

Have been nothing but impressed with my Toyo MTs. On second set and I really like them.

Is it a question of quality of tire build? If thats what you mean, I bought the kuhmo brand for my wifes terrain off tire rack and have put several K miles on them and no problems. But street tires are not mud tires and so it may not mean a damn thing to you.

I ran 35" Kumho M/T on a 1500 Z71, the tires were brutal in the mud. Cleaned out like a swamper, it's truly a Mud Tire that is very friendly on the street. I ran 2 sets, got 40k out of both sets.
Mud grapplers are crap if you ever plan on driving in the highway. Loud as a pissed off woman and shake a lot.
I am currently running 37" Kumho A/T on my F-250. I have over 50k on them and they have been the best A/T I have ever ran. They are very similar to the old Remington Wide Brutes.
