I mean his greatness window was 3 seasons in KC and as others have pointed out it was behind a heck of a line. He isn't mentioned with reason, it was a fleeting career. Injuries certainly didn't help there either.

Not only did he have a great line but Tony Richardson was a hell of a fullback.

Those 3 seasons were great. He scored 20+ TDs in back to back seasons. He had a good line, but he also had a mediocre qb and was pretty much the focal point. Teams knew he was getting the ball and it didn't fricking matter

He rushed for almost 1700 yards and missed 2 full games. Injuries cut his career short. That and he didn't start until he was like 27.
