Correct. On this short notice there needed to be a real incentive to get people to change their plans.

Right or wrong, most people expect this game to be an easy win and figure they can watch on TV and will see the Tigers next week against Florida.

$40 $20 $10 might have pushed attendance close to 70K. Likely end up in low 40's for actual butts in seats.

Was never going to be 90K+ like some hoped simply due to the short notice.

A lot of season ticket holders live out of state and in North Louisiana. Some people work weekends and arrange their work schedules around the football schedule. This is an unplanned game in Tiger Stadium and I can see why it's not going to be a big crowd.

I wonder how many Cocks fans will be making the trip considering they're dealing with flooding and property loss/damage.

It's too bad the game couldn't have taken place closer to Columbia for the Cocks fans to be able to attend.
