I have been attending LSU football since 1964 when the stadium had a capacity of 67,000. We shouted Tiger Bait and booed the opposing team when entering the field. This has always been fun.

Then you must remember the postponed game with UF in 1964 because of a hurricane? Spurrier was a soph. and the game postponed til the end of the season...it cost us a bowl game. We were 6-3 (only 10 games played back then kids) and the bowls arent ANYWHERE like they are now...only a handful of bowls and they waited til end of season to announce participants (except Rose Bowl with Pac 10 and Big Ten).

UF beat LSU 20-6 in part because Joe LaBruzza (?) fumbled punt return to finish 7-3 and no bowl cause Orange Bowl thought we would lose to LSU and they chose LSU ahead of the game.

Been to TS several times and it has the passion of the Swamp...last week against Ole Miss it was electric.

Used to live in Jefferson Parrish and love the food, was very fond of shrimp po boys and soft shell crab po boys. Lived 100 yds from Orleans Parrish off Lake Av...had huge levee behind our apartment in the early 1980s.
