And I think its absolutely fricked up we have to have this mentality in this country.

fight the injustice in court in front of a judge who actually knows the law.

dont assume some podunk cop knows the ins-and-outs of every law on the books and make a stand in a stressful situation.

thats just dumb.

eta reminds me of that youtube video where those 3-4 guys walked behind a couple of cops calling them motheruckers and pigs for a good 5 minutes.

WTF is your end game?

i actually enjoy my freedom. crazy i know.

Its not about knowing the law. Its about having to walk on egg-shells around cops for fear of them just making shite up about you because they need the numbers or are having a bad day.

Before body cameras, it was their word vs. yours in court and they win 100% of the time.

That's power that will corrupt nearly anyone, ESPECIALLY cops with an IQ lower than their drug dogs. I really think the body cameras will help stop a lot of it if they are enforced to be on at all times.

I still walk on egg shells and am overly polite with cops because I'm scared of them. That is my point. I love my freedom too and can swallow my pride and stroke their ego because of that, but I just think its fricked up that I have to.

I won't do anything about it because there's nothing that I can do and I just don't care enough. Doesn't mean I don't think its fricked up.

Until recent video evidence proving shady copping was available, this was basically impossible.

Agreed that this is the smart approach, but we should not have to be so wary of pissing off a trained professional who is supposed to be the cooler head. Their training tells them to diffuse situations, yet you so often don't see them doing this. I also don't find it acceptable how little so many cops know about the actual laws.
