jimbo developed rohan, mauck, jamarucs, and flynn
the iffy QB years were our first year with booty (not a jimbo recruit), 2002 when mauck got hurt, and 2004 after mauck left early
that's 2 bad years out of 7
JR was limited and solid in 2005 and threw for 2443 yards at a 60.5% completion rate (7.9 ypa), 15/9
in the post-Jimbo QB era, do you know how many times we've had a QB throw over 2443? twice (mett 2012 and 2013)
how about having a ypa of 7.9? once (mett 2013)
how about throwing for 15 TDs? twice (JJ 2009, Mett 2013)
we're talking about a SEVEN year stretch and a mediocre year for JR. there has been one better (mett in 2013) in that span
