I've done Crystal Palace for breakfast. It was decent. Nothing spectacular, but it was breakfast so I wasn't expecting to be blown away. 1900 Park Fare was a nice light lunch spot. Haven't done any of the others.

Tony's is good, but just your everyday, run-of-the-mill Italian, IMO. BUT, for it being in the MK it's one of the better options. I've only done Be Our Guest for lunch and wasn't impressed. LOVED Biergarten. Great food and unique entertainment. Just don't go and order a Bud Light in there like my wife's cousin's husband did. Via Napoli is FANTASTIC. Quatro Formaggio pizza is awesome. Really any of the pizzas there are spectacular. Desserts are also really good.

Ohana is EASILY one of my favorite places....just a pain in the arse to get a reservation a lot of the time. Not a character meal as far as I can remember (unless they do character breakfast) but it's still very kid/family oriented. All you can eat, so wear your stretchy pants. If you're going for dinner, try to time your reservation around the MK fireworks. They'll dim the lights and turn on the Wishes soundtrack and you can watch the fireworks display from across the Seven Seas Lagoon.

While I think character meals are a good use of dining credits on the DDP, I don't think using them on breakfast is the best option.

First, mornings are some of the best hours of the park with fewest crowds...don't spend them slamming eggs down your throat. For the money, you'll get better return for your money on lunches and dinners and if you do wake up early, be one of the first people in the parks. Some people are big advocates on the pre-opening 8 am ADRs and as long as you eat fast it can work but still taking some chances.

I usually advise sitting for the character meal during lunch or early evening when you're ready for a break and to get off your feet and either sleep in and relax in the morning or hit the parks like you're on a mission.
