You can never say for sure unless you're in the film room, but I'd bet a lot of money that we are reading deep to short. (this also explains why Jennings kept heaving it deep to Dural last year). That's not going to change at this point in the season; it's not like you can just flip a switch and suddenly become a Bill Walsh style short passing team. You just have to hope that something clicks and the deep passes start connecting.
