re: Possible reason why offense passes just deep downfield

I remember encouraging myself with this thought one of Mett's years as QB. Sure enough, come the bama game, we saw some much more interesting (and effective) calls. It still was not enough but I was much more impressed with the play book.

That being said, our D has GOT to step it up. We had an impressive defense and I am concerned about these young fellas. I am concerned when we meet FL and aTm offenses that they will leak like a sieve. Let's hope Steele has a secret playbook, too... And the punter is holding back. And the special teams.
