Default of some is to blame everything on the coaches. All of our receivers "know how to catch a football"! These guys didn't start playing last week. They were recruited by major football powers because they can catch a football. This is mainly on them.
As far as missing some balls behind them or a little high, etc., playmakers catch those and separate themselves from average receivers. Right now our receivers do not even look average.
If they catch a few more balls this game is entirely different, just like Syracuse last week.
