Gotcha. I agree, but everyone wrote off not only us, but the entire Big Ten at this point last year. Ohio State might not win another national championship, and the smart money probably says they don't, but I still think they will be a much better team than FSU was by the end of the season.

They do have the talent to pull it together but talent is not everything. It doesn't help that Michigan and Northwestern are looking good too. Bama's 2010 team was one of the most talented teams Saban has ever had but they couldn't pull it together and lost 3 games.

I think Michigan and Northwestern (Iowa too) looking good actually does help. If Ohio State had to close out the season playing Purdue, Rutgers, and an 8-5 West champ, they'd probably sleep walk into the playoff and get the Florida State treatment. Their last three games should get them ready to play, if they make the playoff.
