Thanks for the pointers guys. It was my first time shooting in about 10years. I'll see if I can work on some things on my next trip to the range.

On a positive note, I put 200 rounds of Winchester/Remmington ammo thru the G43 without a hitch.

I own the 42 and 43, all the issues that they had with the 42 were fixed prior to the 43 getting released. I wouldn't worry about your 43 not taking any ammo. It has chewed through about a dozen different types of ammo I've put through mine without a hitch. Got a little over 2000 rounds through it so far and it's a fantastic shooter.

Get some more range practice, you will love the gun
