Is currently playing on ESPN2 right now. Connor Cook is looking like a top 5 pick. Get ready for Life After Brees when this season is over.

Against Purdue(Not Brees' version). Unless Brees retires in the offseason they better not spend a top 5 pick on a QB in this class.

When the BPA is QB you may not have a choice unless you trade down. The Titans didn't in the past draft.

Honest question - what if Sean Payton is fired or leaves for a college job, Peyton Manning retires, Denver gets a ton of cap space, and offers 2 future first to us for Brees? Denver is still built to win over the next 3 years and Elway is a "go for it" type of GM.
I'd take that trade all day long. Between our expected high first and two future firsts from Denver or Arizona or somebody we'd be in great rebuilding mode.

I'm more interested in 6'4 210 WR Josh Doctson for TCU. Dude just snatches the ball out the air and gets in DBs head

I would actually be ok with Connor Cook as a protege, he's solid. But I think Brees has more in the tank that most give him credit for so I'd prefer an impact player with a top pick

Is this real? I would guess you didn't watch much of the game because he finished with 139 yards against the 101st ranked pass defense. Purdue is one of the worst teams in the power 5.

Cook will be one of the top QBs off thr board, if not, the top. Getting a franchise QB is hard to pass up on believe it or not.

Just because he will be taken early doesn't mean he should be. Reaching for a mediocre qb early in the first typically leads to the downfall of a team for years.

Unless Grayson really pans out we gotta seriously look at the position nest year. I don't think Drew is here in a year from now. Problem is though...we gotta a ton of positions that need serious attention.
