Anyone else ever consider that Lou is a terrible father? His wife is dying and he leaves her and his young daughter at home every day to go put himself in the middle of a war between some of the most sadistic people imaginable. And it's not like he's just doing his job. He's got a chip on his shoulder and is looking for a fight as much as anyone.

He is cut from the same cloth as Larrsen. Women tend to call for men that are like their father.
