Pro set takes better talent to run effectively.

The spread offenses of today are designed to maximizes the talent of a few playmakers. The QB dumps the ball quickly to his man in space.

If executed correctly it doesn't rely upon excellent lineman.

Pro set teams need excellent lineman to be dominant at the point of attack. Instead of relying on dink and dunk they can grind out yards more efficiently in a method that creates less chance for turn overs.

All teams need a mix of good and great players on offence and the line best work as one unit. It dose t matter which offence you run or the defence you play. I know a great defence can stop any offence on any giving day.

Did Gus forget how to coach the offensive side of the ball this year? Does this look like the LSU offence the last couple of years. This is the worst o-line he has had during his years at AU and his offence needs a dual threat QB and a talented RB. He has weak line play and inexperienced QB and RB play.

LSU needs great O-line play and didn't get it the first few games last year and injuries for the Arky game. One great RB or by comiitty is always there. A QB that can move the ball when needed, but O-line needs to be nasty.
