hmmmm.... We need a poll for this! In my book pretty good is better than good. "Yeah that team is pretty good!"
I think "pretty good" is not quite "good". If I want to say better than good, I will say "really good". Above "really good" is "great"

they played damn hard tonight
It was at 11:00. How is that "tonight".
Not making an issue out of the early game, but WHY do people constantly refer to games played DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS as "tonight" or "last night".
Really grinds my gears!

It's been great to interact with you and the other Syracuse fans. Great game by both teams. Good luck in the rest of your ACC schedule (1-0 and counting...).

We won playing our worst game. Football has injuries. It's called next man up. Bring ur #1 Qb to tiger stadium and get ready to be blown out. I remember when you guys almost beat Fsu and they won a natty. So get over it. We should have won by 28 if we remotely play with any intensity

"I agree with previous poster who said LSU needs a passing game or its over... I say No shite Sherlock. But what most people including 80% of the LSU fans don't realize or want to admit is that this team is loaded with talent in development and Miles will play his cards really close to the vest while they get more experience"
thanks for agreeing with me, this is spot on. I think (know) that LSU is one of the most talented teams in the country. The combination of a strange environment, slopiness and overlooking Syracuse made his closer than it should have been. Going down the road, this all will be cleaned up, and the only thing LSU needs is a passing game and they'll be SEC champs. You guys have the best RB, best OL, and best Secondary in CFB. A QB is all you need. And why is everyone so butthurt over minor critisizm? You really think LSU looks better than Georgia or Ole Miss at this point?

same as any other college football fan. Sometimes perspective from someone without skin in the game can be helpful

Had LSU not had so many drive killing penalties the score would have been in the upper 50's at least.
Anyway can play the "yeah but" game. Had SU's freshman phenom QB been playing...... In all seriousness, if our starting QB was playing, and had LSU been penalized zero times (cancel out both side's excuses), score probably would have been the same.
Bottom line is LSU has the talent to go all the way if they clean things up and diversify the offense. I'll be rooting for them in the SEC and so will every other Syracuse fan.

I think so too. Interested to see how they play against Virginia.

This is not a douchebag response at all. Nope, not douchey at all.

I'm assuming Les was giving him a shot at the LSU single game rushing record, but it wasn't a smart move considering the circumstances.
Aaaand, assuming Les is being rational is another thing you'll have a difficult time understanding around here...
In fact, last week at 229 yds after 3Q, the fans were grousing that he should've let him get the record (250) before pulling him. Miles said after game- A):he wasn't aware he was closing in on record, and B): it wouldn't have affected his decision on when to pull him out.
So today (after runs of 80+ and 40 yds called back for penalties away from the ball.... that would have put him at around 370yds for the day) he was at around 215 with 2 minutes to kill on the clock.... Les put him in because in his mind he needed a 1st down, not a rushing record.... So, our fans go ballistic and say "Les is an idiot for risking Founette", and LF7 rips off another 30yds, putting him at 244 - fans promptly say "Les is a dick for not giving him another carry to break the record"...
Figure out how that "collective thought process" works and you can be our Resident Shrink.

In other words, it's just another typical Les team.

Cognitive dissonance, bruh .... We Tiger fans!

This board snickers at Bama fans who never give their opponents credit.
And LSU has become the biggest whiners in college football about officiating.
For a program with a great tradition, our fans sometimes suck.
Agreed. We played sloppy. The officials did fine. LSU is the reason the game was so close and Syracuse played better than expected. The D line got tired...again at the end and our "DBU" is looking way overhyped. Hopefully we can get better before SC at their place because they'll beat us with this performance. So will Bama, and Ole Piss will just make us look real bad.

LOL. The only thing that is embarrassing about this game, is how "fans" like you are reacting to the win.

Turning the ball over 5 times and giving up a long TD pass on a ball that was just thrown up in the air, bounced off one guy's head into another guy's hands.... That's embarrassing

We can't afford to pay someone smart enough to figure that shite out.

Agreed. I also think that being on the plus side of 5 turnovers, getting a fluke touchdown off of a busted play that bounced off of a helmet, and the game still going down to the wire, is embarrassing.
