The disrespect that The Rockford Files gets always amazes me
It's the greatest P.I. show of all time, but the theme, while pleasant enough, is not top 5.

My choices:

5. Rawhide -- Frankie Laine

4. The Twilight Zone

3. Peter Gunn -- Henry Mancini

2. The Monkees

1. Secret Agent - Johnny Rivers

Honorable mention:

All In The Family

The Beverly Hillbillies -- Flatt & Scruggs

Maude -- Donnie Hathaway. Terrible show (aside from Adrienne Barbeau's rack) but a nice theme

Karen -- a long-forgotten sitcom from 1964, notable only for a catchy theme song by the Beach Boys

The Ugliest Girl In Town -- yet another obscure sitcom (this one from 1968), noteworthy for 1) later having its plot stolen by Tootsie, and 2) a memorable theme song co-written by Howard Greenfield, who wrote the lyrics for Neil Sedaka's hits

I'm not counting Dragnet, as that was written for the radio show (and was mostly stolen from the 1946 movie The Killers anyway)

Great one.

Most of my picks are mentioned but I'll add Malcolm in the Middle.
