No, the pressure is all squarely on Nick Saban. Bama did not pay him $4 million a year to lose 4-5 games a year. Not even in his first year.

You are wrong. I can tell you without a doubt that the BOT did not expect big things this year or next. Saban was hired to rebuild the program and that's not something that can be done simply by hiring a coach. The BOT member I talked to before the season started was hoping for 6-7 wins this year.
There are idiot fans out there who would disagree, but the folks that make the decision had realistic expectations.
