Should I fix door dings before trading in car?

I have a 3 year old sports car with 20k miles. The car is clean except a few door dings. I am thinking about trading for a crewcab truck because I need something more practical. PDR will fix all the dings for $150. Should I get them fixed before I go look at trucks?

I just traded a vehicle in. I'd say if you are trading it in to a dealer, negotiate the details of the trade and that they will do it themselves over the phone after settling on your vehicle purchase price.
If selling it yourself private party, it could turn away some people or give them reason to try to get you to lower your bottom line. In this case get a tube of the color to match and do it yourself for under $20 here

My black truck is full of little nicks and dings that drive me crazy

Always about color?

Seriously, your issue is one reason I won't own a black-colored vehicle. They show everything, whether it's dirt or dings.
OP: For only $150, I'd fix the dents. One less thing to have to negotiate about to a potential purchaser.

If your trading it in I wouldnt bother. The dealer will do it themselves cheaper than you can and I doubt you will see the difference in trade value.
If selling Private Party, then yes, go ahead and get them fixed.
