I love the brand of football we play. The only negative about the offense we run is when it doesn't work

LSU opponents are hoping we play like the second half of MSU game so the don't have to worry about anything else, LSU needs to play unpredictable to fully utilize their talents.

I agree with this...though I'm thinking most here do not.
Two points though:
Though I do kind of miss Loyola-Marymount style basketball, I really do love sledgehammer offensive football. I don't find anything boring about watching a team absolutely blow up the defense of the other team and time again for 5, 6, 7 yard gains...methodically bruising it's way down field.
Love it.
But like you said...if it's not working, it's terrible to watch.
The thing is...if your team runs the exact opposite and it's not working that game, that ALSO sucks to watch, right? Who wants to watch a team who does nothing but throw it go three and out and turn the ball over constantly?
I think the key is "is it successful." The other part is simply which you like to watch.
All that being said, while I enjoy the shite out of watching LSU pound teams, I'd rather us do it because we WANT TO and not because we have no other option to be more balanced...because occasionally we have to be. It needs to be in the holster, because we've seen what happens when it isn't.
With the maturation of Harris, hopefully we'll be capable of both very soon.
