If you are doing wood cabinets you might want to rethink that lion grill. They don't make a Heat guard for it so I had to switch to the blaze.

I lined the cabinets insert area with cement board and have already cooked on it twice. Got it up to 450 degrees on purpose just to be sure there was not an issue before I closed it in. The grill actually was not super hot to the touch on the bottom section that was in contact with the cement boards. Not even sure I needed to install the cement boards, but did anyway and they are staying.
