Appear to be near intersection of E Wacker Place and N. Michigan Avenue and prefer something within walking distance.

Budget is $50.00 for dinner and would love to go somewhere "Chicago" and get more bang for my company's buck.

Going to be here through Friday, so the more that can chime in, the better.

Last time I was here, I went to Bavette's Steakhouse. Certainly not a value, but delicious.

We really enjoyed The Purple Pig. Its a 5-10 minute walk from where you are, right across the river. It is very, very crowded but a great atmosphere and really good food. Tapas style restaurant with most of them being $10-20.

The Purple Pig.

There may be a line, but if you're dining solo, you'll find it even quicker than a couple because much of the seating is communal.
