They were conservative. Go to Lowes, buy a ladder, and get over it. They'll let him play next week and build from there. Apparently he was overthrowing like crazy in warmup. If they sit on him next week then start crying

The "get over it, it was a win" opinions are curious to me. This game was alarming b/c we dominated a game we should have lost! The nonchalant way people are saying "move on" is strange. Realize that but for 2 occurrences at the end of the game that were COMPLETELY out of the control of LSU, State would have walked away the victor in a game LSU seemingly bagged in the first quarter. MSU taking a delay of game and the kicker missing a 52 yarder is what allows some to get on the board today and say things like "we won, move on". That's a terrible way to look at that game. No one is saying we have to win by half a hundred every game, but it's also ok if we're not eating rolaids at the end of every game. Think of it this way...most scholarship kickers will nail a 47 yarder. They used their "long distance" kicker because the FG was 52 with the delay penalty. What if it had remained 47 yds? Does the more reliable kid kick? Does the long distance kid have to compensate less for the longer distance and therefore kick it more accurately? What people who are upset with this win are saying is there is a difference in winning and not losing.
