All of you are wrong. This is fantastic. He is mocking everything -
Advertising with the amulet
Media's obsession with Trump with the Oreos
Celebrity worship over nothing with Clooney
The band is mocking all of the Late Night bands
Even his little thing with Fallon mocked the idea of competition between the two.
He has taken a whole different approach with the first show and is going for satire.
Why is no one else seeing this?

People can understand all this, appreciate how clever it is, and still not think it's funny. It's not a contradiction to have that opinion.
