No, its not an interesting thread.

Its just another of your trollish posts disguised as a legitimate attempt at discussion. There stories are not a near exact match and the main similarities are b/c both are set at British boarding schools.

Chris Columbus saying he was inspired by YSH means dick b/c that was his only experience w/a British boarding school. You know, the kinds that are all over the place where JK is from? Things like a teacher secretly being a bad guy or a school bully being a complete prick to the hero for seemingly no reason are common as all get out tropes in fiction and are in no way original to YSH.

This may as well be one of those YouTube videos that take vague similarities to claim movies like The Incredible and Jurassic Park 2 are the same movie. LINK

The only thing missing from your try hard click bait OP was tossing in MIND BLOWN into the title.

Wow, you're mad for no reason. Do you have a particular connection to either one of these movies? Why are you so mad?

Actually, you are wrong about me. How is this a troll post? If you think this is a troll post, then you must think the same thing of other people who notice the incredible similarities between the two movies, including the connection to Christopher Columbus.

You're such a angry poster.

When did you self appoint yourself to Movie Board Sheriff?

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL...you're so mad.

LOL. Main characters who all look alike, reside at a boarding school, and find themselves attempting to solve a mystery regarding an evil cult that may or may not be led by a school professor...a cult that uses "magic".

Sure...no similarities there.

Wrong. Chris Columbus wrote the screenplay for YSH. Chris Columbus directed the first two Harry Potter movies. It sure as hell is an interesting connection, bruh.

Except when Chris Columbus is involved with both movies and admitted that he filmed Harry Potter by borrowing heavily from YSH.

Man, you're stupid.
