Most people don't worry about trying to figure out a way to label something as "discrimination" in the real world. If nobody is burdened (which apparently someone was based on the post above yours), then people just go on about their business.
My company requires travel. A lot of it is international. Several people, for whatever reason, prefer not to travel international, and even some ask to have as little travel as possible. Their schedule is adjusted and nobody cares.
Not the greatest example, but I think it still gets to the point that most people don't worry about little things like that, as long as they aren't getting extra work. Either the person that complained noticed they had extra duties, or they were as whiny as this woman and complained out of spite. Serving drinks is the least important part of a flight attendant's job (and booze orders are nowhere near the majority of drink orders), and one of many duties they perform every flight. Unless the Muslim was taking advantage of the arrangement by not pulling her weight in other areas, there is definitely a way to make that small adjustment with no additional work on the others.
If the argument is on the principle that nobody's religious beliefs should be catered to in the work place, ok. But in reality, either this woman or her coworkers made a big deal about something that probably didn't need to be one.

Muslims shouldn't be allowed on planes anyway...

my point is I think the muslim stewardess is suing for discrimation when in all actuality she was discriminating all the other stewardesses she worked with by being different.

I think this is discrimation what if a muslim waiter refused to serve pork or bacon in a restaurant? should they be allowed to work there if they refuse to actually serve the food on the menu?

probably so but I see employees get mad at everything...from someone being able to come in later than everyone else to they have an ice machine and we don't. And much more petty things than that which I usually choose to ignore.
