I know this guy has talent but I think Crowell is a well balanced bell cow back in the NFL. What are everyone's thoughts on him especially now that Terrence West is out of Cleveland.
Also, should I consider dropping somebody to pick him up in a standard league?
Current RB's are Hill, Gore, Martin, Joique Bell
Rest of team:
Brees/Brady
Cooks/Landry/Maclin/Cruz/Boldin
Owen Daniels/Charles Clay

I'd try to trade a couple of your current RBs for a WR upgrade. Cooks and Landry should score well in a PPR league but even then you need a more consistent top WR
ETA
Just noticed Maclin, so Your WR Corps isnt as bad as I thought (especially if you're playing PPR), but you might still want to go for a bigger name

I would flip one a QB for a RB2 or WR2.

He will get the job eventually IMO but will just be a flex/low end rb2. Certainly worth a spot on the bench if you can afford it.

I think he is suited to follow a similar path to Gio Bernard 's rookie campaign. Immediate value is diminished due to current place holder. However talent will eventually factor in along with game breaking ability.
Gio eventually got the nod over Green Ellis
Duke will eventually supplant Crowell
If you can stash him he can certainly help around miseason however I would not anticipate any 1st quarter help from him unless an injury were to occur.

Duke Johnson is a stash type player. He will get his opportunity later on in the season. Cleveland does have a good o-line.
