I am as well. I thought he showed some promise in the preseason. He doesn't look to be a world beater, but he does seem to be a solid reserve LBer.

It means that you practice with the team, but can't play in games. You also make less money and get half off concessions at home games.

So could these practice players get called up to be on the official roster if someone else gets hurt? Like a minor league baseball team?

It just means they practice with the team during the week. Other teams have access to sign them, too. Just like we have access to theirs. But since the staff sees them weekly, yes, it is more likely that they will be brought up to the roster in the event of an injury, assuming they are up to par.

Sort of. You have to clear a spot by cutting or waiving a player since the NFL has crazy limited injury rules.

Anyone can be signed to any team's active squad. But if you want to keep him, you have to put him on your active roster or else lose him, I believe.

Or maybe they invited him to the PS and he got tired of being jerked around and told them to F-off and is trying to find a new team's PS.

I believe in 09 or 10 somebody took PJ Hill off or PS and put him on their active roster. And then we did the same thing with Joique Bell off I wanna say the Eagles and Lions.

Not sure if sarcasm but we just claimed a Louisiana player off waivers and put him on the 53. His dad also played for us.
